The Saint Joan of Arc Home School Association is made up of a group of parents who volunteer their time and resources to increase the quality of life for the students of Saint Joan of Arc School.
We are a very active organization as our program includes the planning and executing of H.S.A. activities and fundraisers during the school year. HSA strives to provide memorable fun events for our children as well as activities that will benefit the economic welfare of the school.
We encourage parent involvement and are open to ideas and suggestions, as we will be adding more events througout the school year. For a complete list of events, please click here.
Proceeds from our fundraisers are used to offset event expenses.
How do I get involved?
All parents are welcomed and encouraged to become more actively involved in this special phase of their children's lives.
There are many ways for you to get involved requiring varying degrees of commitment.
Please note that it is mandatory for all volunteers to participate in the VIRTUS Program, before you are able to volunteer. For more information on Virtus, please click here.
In addition to attending the monthly meetings, core committee members commit to work on all SJA events, and volunteer during the day in school as door monitors.
Volunteers let the Core Committee know when they have availability to volunteer.
For example, some parents may be able to help with weekend activities like set-up for the Mother-Daughter tea-party, while others may be able to help with morning events like Penance Breakfast.
The Committee Liaison, Susanne May, is the link between HSA and the school Principal, Mr. John Fruner.
Parent volunteers are a crucial and necessary part of many of the school’s special activities.
So please let us know how you can become a part of the HSA!
